It is in french, written by Marc Loopuyt.

hi
read the book today
- lots of iconography (photos and paintings)
4 chapters:
- history of the oud and lutes
- symbols and cosmology associated to the oud
- the nahat family
- description and analysis of a nahat oud (geometrical construction)
all very interesting and well written ... in french
