What type of microphone do you use for your Ud?

Hello,

I have a vibration pickup microphone (AKG 411P) for my Ud but I noticed that such vibration pickups produce a very shallow sound, neglecting the harmonics and echoes that the Ud produces along with each note (I have a Maurice Shehata Ud).

Are there any type of microphones that produce better deeper sounds that also makes the produced harmonics audible?
Any microphone models you guys recommend?

I recently used a sennheiser e935 and thought it had a great sound. It's just a regular dynamic mic though, so more prone to feedback than a contact mic like the AKG411 (and needs a mic stand, etc.). Good for a traditional acoustic ensemble but if there was drumset or electric instruments, or a noisy environment, it probably wouldn't be the most effective.

I also tried the Bartlett clip on mic:

It sounds good but not that much better than the AKG and is somewhat more prone to feedback.

I'm still looking for a good choice for noisier gigs.
