Good string tension balance for a gut 3rd? (compared to gut 2nd/1st)

Hello everyone:)

I love the sound of a plain 3rd, and
I'm stoked about the prospect of a gut 3rd. My hope is that, especially with some twist, it's going to be the best solution for a plain 3rd (esp. for me who likes warm and not so much carbon or nylon)

But, I have no idea what to order in terms of gauge..

Anyone have experience with some string tension balances (in gut) that have worked well for them?

I understand it's totally subjective, but still the info in the threads, sharing opinions about this question ( insofar as nylon) helped me tremendously in crafting my Nylon set.

For what it may be worth : I seem to gravitate towards to 2.7/2.8kg for a Nylon or Nylgut 2nd ("gg") - 60cm arabic Oud..

.. but I still want to hear your opinion.. even if you do different tension on your 2nd:)

Thank you for reading!
