This is on page 152 of the original publication of Mutlu Torun's "Ud Metodu", also referred to as number 3 from the third chapter.

I play in Kiz, with the 6th string down a tone to B, but thinking A. I like the richness of sound in this area of the ud.

I then go on to talk about my time in Istanbul in 2000 or 2001, meeting Necati Celik and Faruk Turunz, and getting a surreal haircut!
