Very cool

Yes... violin/cello repertoire might be very adaptable to the oud. You need some serious chops to play Paganini.

I thought that the piece was OK but it did not match Paganini. However, I believe that the oud can nonetheless be used in Western music; one just needs to know how as well as when to use it. After all, Western music at more than one point was based off of the oud (lute).
