yah That is really interesting especialy the woden circular beam inside
It gives us a more detailed idea of how to properly build a floating brige oud too.

But this longitudinal beam, has it been applied before? Does it work?? I can imagine that it will just completely dim out the sound. Becuse once
upon a time I got a viloin maker to put a vertical piece of Balsa inside my bashir oud directly under the bridge, similar to a soundpost inside a
violin. The idea was to stop the down pressure of the floating bridge from sinking the lower half of the thin sound board. But to my suprise, it was
like a mute device; the volume of the oud was reduced by half. Could this long beam have a similar effect?

I dont see it touching the face so it shouldnt have any effect on the way the face vibrates
