I got 'Resonances From My Soul' from Rachid at Mendocino Camp last week and it's really nice. Just solo oud taqsims and a couple of classic songs
(solo oud, no vocals). Very relaxing!
His self-titled CD is very nice also (very Moroccan, with vocals, oud, violin and percussion). I got that one last year at camp.

So the Moroccan sound, is that similar to sound of oud you get in the beginning of "Abdul Qader" (the live recording) and in the accompaniment of "Ya
Raye7". I understand they mostly pluck with finger nails in that region ..
