Looking for students oud and advice

Hello everyone. I am a high school teacher in Chicago teaching Arabic as foreign language. I have received a small grant for a proposal I made to start an after-school music/dance group where students studying Arabic will have the opportunity to learn more about Arabic cultures via music and dance. I plan to purchase an oud or two, but really have no idea how to go about this. I need an oud that students can learn on, and that will sound ok to do school-based performances. Any suggestion would be most welcome.
Thank you.
