Cankaya Music
Hi Everyone
1 question = Anybody got experience buying oud from Cankaya Music in Ankara Turkey? The maker is Saadettin Sandi.
Any information bout him and his oud are highly appreciated!

My teacher has a beautiful Sandi oud, hand-picked by the great Turkish udi Nacadi Celik. Nacadi really likes them.
I also got one in a round-about way, and I'm very happy with it.
Ustaz Sandi does a great job and is a nice man too.

Spyros...does he send any certificate with the oud? Some oud maker send a seperate cert as an authentication purposes. Can you tell me about the hard
case?

Sorry dear Z, I can't help you there, because, as I told you I got mine indirectly from previous owner, and I got no separate certificate. The
inside of the oud has the customary label with oud serial number, date, etc, from Sandi.
The cases are the classis hard Turkish ones (better) not the plain Egyptian ones.
