Those Ouds are beautiful.

I've been wondering why Mohammadi Ouds look different to me, and I realized he doesn't put a pick guard. Any idea why he doesn't add a pick guard? For sound? I'm not used to seeing an Oud without a pick guard, looks kind of naked to me.

Thank you for your compliments!

That's true, it's because of sound. And i can imagine if you're not used to it.

They have also a pickguard, it is transparent and it's made of very thin celluloid 0.1mm, the reason why you can't see it.

But if the customer wants a wooden veneer pickguard, they will put on it..

But on this particular one, the customer wanted to have it as what Mohammadi Bros choice was.
