Amos Oud Fund
Hey everybody,
I hope you all had a good weekend. Let's start this new time on a more positive note on the forums. I'm looking for some ideas on how we can all help
Amos out in getting his new oud. So again, for those interested in helping out with 10 or 20 bucks, please say so in this thread again, and either

Count me in man. Happy Easter to you guys. I am greek Orthodox so my easter was yesterday.
my idea would be to collect pledges first then collect donations so we know exactly how many pledges we have and not hit a dead end.

Hey guys,
Okay, I think we are ready to go ahead and start collecting the donations for Amos' new oud. The easiest way to do it is to use paypal. Both Amos and I decided to have a middle man to collect the donations, and we asked Mavrothis if he would be willing to do so and he has
agreed. The email you will use to do the paypal transaction is mavrothis@hotmail.com. If you don't have a paypal account and don't
want to open one, you can send a personal check. Go ahead and U2U Amos for his contact information to do that. He should have his new oud soon. I have
friends who are in Egypt now and will be bringing it back for him.

Hey Adnan,
No the current pledges won't pay entirely for the oud, but will be about 200 dollars. Amos is going to pay the difference and he's ok with that.
Maurice was kind enough to offer a substantial discount on what Amos paid originally for the oud that he obtained from Zulkarnain. So our
contributions are going a long way.

Hi guys,
Just letting you know I've started receiving donations from forum members via paypal. There have been small fees, I believe about 3% or more, that
have been eating into the donations. But that's the trade off I guess for convenience through paypal. Each time anyone sends me a donation, I notify
them with an email.
Please contact me if anything seems incorrect.
