Comment on ebay oud

Hello fine people,
I have been reading these lovely forums for awhile now but have now finally decided to join. I have learned a lot from the participants here, but was wondering if this comment on a oud ebay was true or not. Please read the description about this oud on ebay. The link is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=623&item=7333682603&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW I was leaning toward an Arabic oud, but now I am confused. Please help.
Thanks,
Teddy

"Trying to decide between the Turkish and the Egyptian Oud? The Turkish has long been known as the superior instrument"

This is a pretty retarded thing to say. This is as dumb as saying all German cars are better than Japanese cars. If you want to play arabic music, by an arabic oud, if you want to play turkish music, by a turkish oud and if you want to play rock and roll, by an electric guitar.

Dear friend,
each type of oud has his own beauty,
I started with Turkish type, but I also play Syrian and Bashir type too.
You have to hear alot and decide what you personally prefer.
When I want to play Asia Minor songs I play with my Turkish
When I want to play music from Thrace I play with my Syrian
When I want to play more andalusian or free style I play with my Bashir
When I want to jam and play with sound effects I play with my electrical one
Just listen some styles, and I am sure that you will decide untill the end,If you will not, than I am sure that you will be as many of us with more thatn 3 instruments to play with;)
Regards to all
