ebay help needed please

hi iam andy from uk great to find the forum..its hard to buy oud in the uk only hobgoblin sell them that i know of..ive been looking on ebay iam fully aware that most ouds on ebay are going to be very poor... but as a beginner i dont want to rush in and buy something expensive,so iam looking for a basic beginners model just to get my feet wet lol....there's two ouds on ebay one is made by Ali Khalifa’s factory, ive checked on the forum and iam aware that Mr Khalifas as passed away, and the standard is lower now,the other oud is on buy now and looks very basic..
so my question is of the two oud at this quality am i better off going for the buy now option on the second one or leave both alone thks

hi thk for reply Dincer i looked at ur site, that oud on the top of ur page is very classy..iam not a great lover of too ornate, prefer simple designs and not too many frills, simple is stunning sometimes..

The problem with the second one might be that you could have trouble tuning it since the pegs dont look too nice and the Nut is made out of what looks like a softwood so it will stick to your strings and when you tune it it will make jumps that will be too hard to control in order to tune it. (speakin from experiance)

Dincer is a verry respectable oud maker and you should take his advice. The action on first one also seems good enough to learn on.
