My experience so far has been that the base pitch when multiple instruments are involved is "g". This will frequently be the "g"
on the qanun. But, ideally would this be an equally tempered "g" (418.1Hz?) based on a-440? On an Oud, then, would all other open strings
be tuned zero-beat to the "g" except the "F" (assuming one tunes CFAdgc) that would be tuned zero-beat with "C"? Is this
how other people do their tuning when some reference back to concert pitch is required?
