Oum Kalthoum and taqsim

Hey everybody,

Often I try to describe the passion and feeling of Oum Kalthoum's music to my non arab friends but I find difficulty in doing so without detracting from how great they realy are. I got them to listen to some songs but they didn't see anything special in them which I understand, I mean how many arabs with a non musical background will appreciate Mozart the first time they hear his music? So I figure a good way to do so is through the lyrics. I know that translating a poem kills a tremendous amount of it's effect, but I'm sure they can gain some appreciation when they understand what she is saying. So my question is, does anyone know where I can get translated lyrics to her songs? I've found only one on the internet and that is Enta Omri.

Now for the taqsim. For anyone out there who can give some advice on how to improve my playing, please listen to my recording and help me out :D. Thanks!
