Many times there will be no answer if the information requested is easily found already... there are many opinions of Sukar electric ouds here if you bother to do a search (top left hand corner - "Search")

They work ok but having a good effects processor is really helpful to get a good sound... Also, my experiance is that you have to play them pretty hard to have a good "oudish" sound.

Thanks, Sazi, but that was the first thing I did before posting. Actually there aren't many opinions about them at all.

Here were some impressions about the Sukar Electric...

I ended up selling mine, but it was only because I picked up the Shehata with a bridge pickup...

I think it's solid.
