Oud Trivia Challenge
Now for some serious brain squeeze:
From left to right, name the makers of the ouds.
Hint: The 5 makers are from (in no particular order) Turkey(2), Lebanon, Greece and United States.
Try out your oud knowledge prowess!
I will chime in when the first member names all 5 makers correctly before end of February, 2010.
If no one identifies all five makers correctly by end of Feb., four correctly identified makers will win.
One submission per member, please.
Prize: A wood oud stand like shown, originally designed by Jameel, adapted and made by my friend, Kevin.

Not enough clues, Looks like no one is willing to give the wrong answers, I'll give it a shot, including 3 pure near-wild guesses.

Well, if you must know, I did what anybody would do: go to wikipedia!!

I did a background check between the pictures you gave and those on the websites. If the makers had no website, I looked them up on this forum! I then
looked up previous posts by you, oudistcamp, to see your association with these ouds.
Part of it might have also been luck?
These are very beautiful ouds. Would you post pictures of the front? The owner of such magnificent instruments must be very proud!!!
