OLD SYRIAN OUD

Dear Bassel why don't you make some photos for the oud and post them here for us to see the condition of the instrument?
However your oud's sound is authentically of the old style, it reminds me of Riadh Sunbati's oud.
Thanks

I have a Mahmoud Safi, from 1971. It looks very unlike yours (elaborate inlay) but the sound is similar. What changed? Were the later ones made by an assistant?

What strings do you use on yours? I can't quite make my mind up what the lowest courses are happiest at.

Dear Bassel,
For sound file i recommend that you record it and post it on Youtube and then cut the link to the video and paste it here.
As for the pictures here, i believe you need to resize them and make them smaller in size. Honestly this site is not versatile when it comes to uploading larger files audio or video.
