Useful Oud Handbook and Turkish Scores FREE
I don't know if maybe everybody else already knew about this, but I just found it at:

There are 3 very relevant titles here you can download to your PC or Mobile. Signing up and downloads are free. 
The first title is an 88 MB PDF of Turkish scores, 3400+ pages!. Mostly tidy, some rough xeroxes, some hand-drawn.
Never seen anything like this.

The second and third is a 131 page Oud handbook showing historical materials, then Arabian and Turkish lists of
Makamat with notation and fingerings, rhythms etc. The last is the same only with diagrams turned around for left handed players.

Although the PDF bears no copyright notice, the content duplicates material that is
apparently (c) 2001-2010 by David Parfitt, as it can be found on his web site :

I don't know yet whether David has granted permission to disseminate it as a standalone file.
I am writing him to ask for permission for us to use it.

Ah, so that is the site where I had seen some of these before! Thanks for letting me know.
I didn't have anything to do with creating the PDF, I found it as is on the Scribd web site, with no copyright notice. Also I don't have any idea of
how much the contents overlap.
I see David Parfitt's web pages DO bear a copyright notice. Whoever assembled this PDF should have credited David Parfitt, unless there is another
source of the same texts, that David didn't credit.
In light of what seems like a possible violation of IP rules, Copyright law and common decency, I am removing the attached file from my post until we
know if David's granted permission. People can download it from the original server.

well i open the site with ultrasurf but nothing happens when i click the download button. i have no problem with its size. i can download 88 mbs if it
is from an uncensored server like divshare, 4shared or somewhere else.

What another great online resource for all sorts of stuff (not just ouds) that I am interested in and curious about. There seems to be a wide range of
quality/relevance in the posted material so it may be a matter of taking the time to browse and sort out the 'wheat from the chaff'.
Registration (required for downloading - or uploading - material) is straightforward and free.

Well they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. 
The person who produced the PDF didn't ask permission to use the information in there, which is all copied direct from my site. It would have been
nice if they had, just out of courtesy, especially considering the hours of work that went into it. Of course I would have agreed anyway, as I put my
site together in the first place to make the info available to as many people as possible.
Anyway, there are more important things in life to worry about, and it's actually a great idea to have all the info in PDF form like that, so go ahead
and download it, link to it, and generally get as much use out of it as you can.
