Closest to West Wales

Hi. I'm searching for the nearest Oud leaners/players to me. I was hoping maybe I could have a chance to try someone's oud briefly. Despite loving oud music I have not had this chance yet. It may help inform me when trying to buy an oud also I think.
I know Leon is in Portsmouth, South of England, but maybe there is someone closer still?? For example, Birmingham, Cardiff?? London may also be possible as I may have to journey there in the near future anyhow.
Leon told me about meet ups but I am not aware of any coming up soon. Have seen an oud advertised at a cheap price (still to ascertain if this is a good buy or not!)
Seems wise to try an oud before launching into buying one and to inform that process...
Any leads appreciated,
Warmest regards, Diane.

Thank you Awad! I am quite far for weekly trips as also I am a mother here, but I would like very much to at least visit, and begin my journey.
Kindest regards,
Diane.
PS I have to think about what is possible this end/how soon. I would be coming by train from Aberystwyth. What time of day do you meet there?

Hello Michael. Yes, Manchester is presently meaning an overnight stay, so have it on hold for the mo. Though Aber is a long way from you, it may be more feasible on odd occassions we're in Cardiff as for me to get to Bristol would be relatively easy on the train. I'll let you know next time we're about - just incase.
Kind regards, Diane

OK Diane, let me know when you want to do it. You're welcome to try my oud, tho' it's not a terribly good one - and I'm happy to share what little I know about oud-playing and arabic music.
