Sabbassi is a friend of Belhaiba ;)

And yes, Belhaiba ouds are great.

Regarding the original questions ... more photos and sound files might be helpful, if possible.

PS: Is the lastname HABBI correct? Or is it Habibi? Google finds nothing about this oudmaker.

Greetings from Germany

Chris

I wrote Belheba once trying to order an oud of his, and he replied I have to wait 8 month for delivery, so I dropped the idea for good !
I may wait 8 months, if I have to, for an Abdo Nahat's 1920's, but not for a 2010 model !!
So try others

Yours Truly

Dear Alfaraby,
8 months is short time, compared to some lute ( renaissance / baroque ) makers whose have sometimes 5-6 years waiting time !:(

I have also heard this Tarbool. Good luck with your journeys. I am a step or two behind you, so am busy learning from the footprints :-)
