Gluing the rosettes, which kind of glue?
Can you help me with defining the correct glue for the rosettes?
that can be open/detuch easily for repairing.

Hi
I met few kinds of glues that r used to glue the rosettes- super glue, white/plastic glue, bone glue and even "devek maga" (i don't know the correct
name for this 1)
I think the white glue is the best- and don't use too much so it will easily come off wn needed (i did it my self and its the easiest)

Liquid hide glue Is available in little dated bottles, comes off easily with warm water. White and yellow glues in small enough emounts to be
reversible are not going to prevent rattling, and if you use more, heaven help you as it does not dissolve or reverse and it cannot be glued to itself
after the repairs are done. Contact cement and rubber cement may do the trick but don't give you ANY time to correct placement after repairs.
Hot hide glue is best but unless you already have a gluepot cooking, go for the liquid sort. I realize Cairo weather just separated Edward's neck that
if I understand correctly the orthopedic surgeon had attached his head to the neck with liquid hide glue, but if Edward can manage without his head,
surely you could go to Egypt too, as a rosette isn't a neurological or structural load bearing element !

That's really worth remembering Yaron, and while hot hide glue is best for a lot of things, it's awkward to glue in a rosette with it in time before
it gels, I agree that liquid hide glue is a good choice here, but don't use it for anything critical, as Edward found out it is good for fixing old
furniture, not building ouds.
