Contest #5 - Oud repair in social context - simplified
All the information you need is (probably) in the photo. The contest is easy. Everybody is qualified. The question is:
What is wrong with the soundboard of the Oud Adani in the picture, and what "repair" is the technician thinking about? Using which of the tools?
The winner will receive a genuine MidEast/Bavly cow-horn risha blank, with the serial number filed off. Unless you live in India, or you are a
vegetarian, in which case you will receive a beautiful black acetal (Delrin) risha blank.
They just called from AndreasInc, who had called MidEast Manufacturing: the LAST 6 pack of cow horn rishas that I ordered cannot ship to me as they
are "damaged". Winner will thus receive one of my 3 remaining horn blanks! Treasure! Treasure! This isn't a Dr. Oud polypropylene handcuff material
illegibly signed Mizrab! These are the last ones on the American continent (for now). Sharpen your pencils and rev your minds! You can do it if you
try!

Trying to remove stinky smells with cigarettes, if it does not work you cook something inside to make the oud smell food, if it does not work you wash
with soap, finally if all don't work you destroy the Oud!
The last one I am sure for the others can I get a hint about the order?

That oud suffers from an extreme case of Mother of Toilet Seat Syndrome. (MOTSS)
Spank it with the wooden spoon, give it the happy ending massage with baby oil and then rub garlic on it.

Probably, the garlic sucks or absorbs the odour, it will be crushed by the hammer and th espoon. The Cohuba cigar to smoke inside the soundboard (
instead of scent, so the oud will be smoked-in oud and its value will drop dramatically) the wood plastic is for giving a fresh painting.. the bullets
are for the pouder

You've misplaced the last remaining three cow horn risha blanks somewhere on the worktable, and the oud is being used to hold some of the overflow
items that you've moved in order to more easily locate the prize which you've offered for this contest.

OK, I announce Manil is the winner. Some highly technical and creative answers. Nobody got the problem "with the soundboard", namely "spooning". But
Manil got the obvious considered remedy of destroying the bloody thing. What a rewarding contest. Manil, send me your address by U2U before I lose the
promised cow horn blank.
