I played it on standard tuning A=440 hz,
Then you should be able to play it.

Yes for sure I am able to do that.
I have played music for years and years without partitions. And I'm still doing it. I finally decide to learn solfege. And I don't regret it (even if
i'm not a champion).
For me now solfege is a good way to understand a piece of music. I still like very much listening to an interpretation.
But what I find very interesting is hearing how different musicians interpret the same score : choice of tempo, ornamentations, silence... And
finally make my own choice.
