"Dirasat al-Ud"

"The Study of the `Ud"

Edited by `Abd al-Mun`in `Arafah and co-edited by Safar `Ali.

First published in 1942 in Cairo. The last publishing in 1984.

"Dirasat al-Ud" contains transcriptions of 17 basharif, 37 sama`iyyat, one darij, and 11 dawalib.

I'm looking for this book, if anyone can help...

It is 75% music, but I'd like the piece titles in order to identify the basharif, the sama`iyyat, the darij, and the dawalib.

Alfaraby, may you help?

Thank you David and Alfaraby for sending me the document.
I have made a little list with the content for the non-arabic readers.
Well actually, I am not a real arabic reader but I am able to read some non too complicated words.
So, in the list, there are a few words I can't translate and probably a few mistakes. Note that the page numbers are the one of the pdf document and don't match the arabic page numbers.
It would be nice if a REAL arabic reader could correct the errors.
I hope it will help.

Robert

Thank you very much Robert, fortunately some enthusiasts make things happen!

This will save me a lot of time
