melodic minor c - what maqam?

Hi guys,

I am jsut wondering, the melodic c minor scale appears to me to be: Lower jins - nahawand & upper jins - ajam.

What maqam would this correspond to? And are there any examples floating around of this being used in midde eastern music?

I have a second related question: when descending in melodic minor c it is normal to descend in natural/normal c and not melodic. In midde eastern I believe it works just as well descending in melodic minor i.e. ajam and then flipping into nahawand...

Looking forward to your responses and any clear/basic examples of this in song.
