rosette design - whose work is it?

Hi,
First I want to say hello for everybody as I am new member.
Greetings from Poland! I am not sure if there is somebody else from my country here, as an oud in Poland is almost completely unknown.

Anyway, searching an internet I found on ebay quite interesting oud with rosette design I have never seen before. I am just curious if someone from you might be able to identify it? Looks more Arabic then Turkish, other designs elements looks even like Syrian, but whose work it might be?
Any ideas?

I am graphic artist and I am very interested in rosette designs - I am preparing a special project connected with it, but more about it later...:)
