Hi Marina :wavey:

did he enjoy your playing? He looks a bit like he is thinking about how to escape:))

Like my cat. As long as I play something rhythmical, she stay close and seem to enjoy it, but as soon as I start to play taksim/out of rhythm, she looks like your dog and a few seconds later she`s gone:D Actually she like blues more than oud-music.

Btw: can we hear your new oud?

Greets from Germany,

Marcus

Playing the oud is like feeding my soul with peace

Hi Marina, are you by any chance Marina Toshich who wrote the tutor ' The Basics of Oud'? If so I'd just like to say what an excellent tutor it is, it has helped me a great deal in developing my oud playing. I used to have a dog that hated the hurdy-gurdy. Whenever I brought it out of it's case the dog would leave the room. I think maybe she had better taste in music than me. best wishes David
