In the web :Maqam Word,there is a recording sample of the Jamil Awis's samai nawa athar.

That might be Abraham Salman playing in that track. I have a really pretty version of this samai by Hakki Obadia, an Iraqi musician. In this track he
is playing violin, viola and oud himself. The file is too big, maybe Mike can help me post it...
