IMPORTANT REMARK: Slight buzzing you hear is a typical and wanted feature of classical Turkis Oud Sound. It is not
related to the particularity of the oud's kind but to the action. Action is arranged to a certain degree that no buzzing sound would be produced.

This oud comes also in Arabic tuning for the same price certainly ! Shipping cost to LA is $250.- including the insurance

Thank you my friends for your interest, congratulation and questions.
Yes Leon, you're right. The difference is only down to wood used and other detailing (purflings and spacers)
oudistcamp, our choice was not haphazard. Bearing in mind, we particularized on basically two important features of the wood when working out.
1- Characteristic tonal contribution of the wood to the sound,
2- Aeshetic contribution of them to the appearance of the oud.
We are thinking on some other wood options by which to reach the similar tonal and aesthetic design would be possible.

I was looking again at the video clip and it struck me that your workshop seems to be more spacious than the last time I saw it.
Have you moved the operation to larger premises, or just re-arranged the workbenches?

I think you need to be a bit more specific when you talk of buzzing so people can give you more precise advice. Some ouds like mine have a natural
buzziness inherent in their sound which can be toned down or enhanced depending on how I use the risha (almost impossible to explain how).
But when people talk of buzzing as an undesirable sound it is probably a different thing altogether and may be to do with lots of things (loose brace,
cracks, fingerboard problems, action, loose bridge etc etc).
If you described the specific problem then maybe Usta Faruk may give you an idea as to what this may be. I think the way you phrased it initially
suggested his ouds have a problem - but I think you are saying your oud is faulty and you'd like a bit of advice.

No, I didn't want to say that his ouds have problems. Later I've written that my buzzing is different from that what he means and that it sounds like
my fingerboard has a problem.

em.20, You are absolutely right. Your oud's fingerboard must have a problem. It is a common case due to the technique applied to level the
fingerboards. Hand controlled leveling with a sandpaper block needs patience and accuracy. I applied this technique for more tahn 24 years. Recently
we designed and made a leveling machine to level our ouds' fingerboards.
