Avishai Cohen & Amos Hoffman
Does anyone here like the music of Avishai Cohen? He's a great double bass player from Israel i believe; he plays jazz fusions with middle eastern
music.
I love the sound of the Oud and i find it refreshing to hear it in a Jazz context.
Heres a tune called "In One", it has a 2 minute Oud introduction and the rhythmic writing in of the music is astounding.

Im thinking about performing this as part of my Ethnomusicology final exam and love to hear your thoughts on the piece.
