Buzuq strings set and three courses tuning

Hi everyone, i have a buzuq that i get it a few days ago, it became with two doble courses and i play it to the cc, gG tuning. I ´m looking for buzuq strings set for sale and i didn´t find anything on the internet. does anybody knows some company that sell it?. Or other strings that could be useful? I would like to try it in the three course way but i don´t know the tuning. lintenin´some recordings i think it could be cc, gg, cC, or cc, gG, cC, but i really don´t know. Does anybody knows some traditional tuning for three courses?, thanks a lot and regards!

The common ones are

cc gg cC
cc gG cC

Sometimes there are triple courses:

ccc ggG ccC

Saz strings work ok.

I've been playing buzuq recently, and I'm trying to figure out some good options so that I can carry them in my store. I've been talking with Bassam Saba and Tareq Abboushi to get recommendations.

Dr. Racy once pointed me to Banjo strings as a source. It takes two sets but they a pretty cheap. For instance, the John Pearse 1700L set are nice and long, loop end, and have two .009, one .010, one .013, and one 80/20 wound .020.

I try to play the Bouzuk <g>

I have used acoustic guitar strings for a while now.

Cc -22(or 20)\10
gg -12
cc - 10

You could try10 gauge on the gg and 8 on the cc but I don't personally like that setup. I think those gauges are closer to the strings Samir put on it when he shipped it to me. The gg course feels rather wonky to me that way.

Interesting idea about Banjo strings.

Until Brian sells Bouzuk strings you can buy individual strings for acoustic guitar from several online resellers.
