It is not the Szmai Lami of Abdul Wahab Bilal.
I am not absolutely sure, but I think this samai was composed by Yair Dalal.
The samai's in Lami maqam are very few. Even though the Iraqi Maqam in mode Lami is very popular.

The maqam Lami has already been discussed here.

Did Yair compose this Samai?
I am not sure.
I really like the piece though.
A good one to transcribe...
The seyir is basically beginning with Kurdi on Nawa, and resolving to Kurdi (Dugah).
Maqam Lami today seems to be mostly specific to Iraq.

I am not sure either that he composed it.
The samai is in the CD Shajarut, but I don't have it in hands so I can't verify.

this samai is composed by salah al qweiti, a very famous iraqi jew, who played violin with his brother daud (who played oud). they composed many many songs that are still played and sung in iraq (and also but unfortunately less in israel).
