Does anyone know how that fretless guitar is strung/tuned? It's very fine, and he plays it beautifully!
Thanks!

Very beautiful performance and a great ensamble, thanks for sharing!
The fretless guitar is tuned, from bass to treble: low Bb, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, C#. Yeah, he plays it really unusually for a guitar, doesn't he? He manages to make it sound, in some places, like a cross between a Turkish oud and a tambur...........

And come to think of it, that fretless guitar tuning is a version of the Algerian tuning (low D, AA, DD, gg, cc, ff) transposed to the normal Arabc tuning (low A, EE, AA, DD, gg, cc) but a semitone higher (probabily because the tuning that low caused buzzing), hence Bb, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, C#......very ingenious way of adapting it to the guitar............
