Thank you everyone , I really appreciate this wonderful welcome from you .

Leon ,
Actually I playing with an Arabic Oud , built by Mr " Abd Al-Hamid Al-haddad " from "Tunisia , Korba" , I ordered it a few monthes now , and I received it recently , His now 3 monthes old :)) It's a great Oud ! Honestly , Pigs and fingerboard made in ebony , and a lot of great things . By the way , Giorgioud , Mr "Achref Chargui " is using an oud build by " Abd Al-Hamid Al-haddad " too , in fact , It's the N 1 oud builder in Tunisia , I noticed that even oud professors are using these Ouds , I had the chance to study with 3 great oud teachers here in Tunisia , as I had the chance to discuss with a lot of students who are preparing their Oud diploma as well , al of them play with " Abd Al-Hamid Al-haddad " Ouds . Honestly , It's an honor for me to play with such a oud , as the ones of my teachers , hoping too know well Ouds here in this forum :) .
I'll try to get you some photos as soon as possible :) .

I am learning oud in a private music school , in "Tunisia-Ariana-Aouina" , I attended also an Oud Seminar with one of the best Oud teachers in Tunisia , by the way he is a member of the Jury Of The Oud Diploma , I made a remarkable progress since I began playing , I am playing Samai's and Longas currently , you know what ! It's not an easy job as my first exercices :D .

I would like to re-thank you everyone for your great welcome , I wish success with Oud to all of you :)
It seems that this wonderful instrument is hiding a lot of secrets , I am coming My Oud , you and me have a lot to learn :)

Oudbedis,
since you have mentioned him, yes, I will be studying with Achref Chargui in a while. I was supposed to go to Tunis in September, but I have to relocate (from the South coast of England where I lived) to London in a week (a bit of a change at this point) and, you know, it cost a lot of money (one month rent in advance and one month deposit). This is London prices :( London's the most expensive city on the planet, what a shamble.....
I will have to alert Achref that I'll have to be there later in the year, but I will do the right thing and wire him some advance money for the lessons just to show him some commitment. He deserves it as he's been really nice and helpful. If you see him please do tell him so..........
His oud is really neat. It looks at a first glance like a Turkish oud, but it sounds vastly different, dare I say improved. I have heard a lot about Adb Al-Hamid Al-Haddad. In fact I contacted him a few months ago to know how much his ouds are!
And you know, they are not even as expensive as they could be....you're very lucky to have one of his ouds, I am sure it will be well loved by you.....
Are rents cheap in Ariana? I am looking for a room in a shared apartment right in the Ariana area, close to the University......

Hey littleseb, how are you? Long time no see!
Yeah, it'll be good for the music side of things. But disastrous for my pockets........may I venture the hypothesis that we ought to meet sometime in the near future to exchange oudisms and oudities?

Hi Giorgioud :) ,
About the rents , I do not know much about it , All what I know is that apartments are normally rent by month , of course , it all depends on the duration of your housing , otherwise , hotels could present an other choice .
Here in Ariana-Aouina , I know someone who's renting an apartment , in a quite expensive area , in which there are 4 rooms , a kitchen , and a bathroom , for 400 Euros per month , logically , according to my superficial knowledge ( ^^" ) , a one room apartment could possibly never surpass the 250 Euros per month .
Now about hotels , you will be lucky to visit us in a winter/spring period , considering that it's hotel's most cheap prices period ( About 20-40 Euros per night , for a quite luxury room ) ( Adding also that I knew these prices from coastal hotels , I really do not have an exact idea for the ones , logically , it would be the same )

Unfortunately , I do not know Achref personally , I never met him , but I know where is he studying currently .
You are lucky to study with him , it's a great Oud player :)

Yes , I could only be happy , loving my Oud :) .
As you have said , Haddad's Ouds are great ! Even prices are not so expensive ... ( well , it is , absolutely , but , considering that I am only 17 years old ... having such a Oud took me all my savings , as I had to borrow some money from my brother ^^ , but , after all , Music And Oud deserves much more !!! I am really happy with it :)) )
