There Is aconcert iof Musicians from Mali on November 6 at Bridges auditorium here in my home town of claremont California.
They do not play oud but they do use arabic maqams mixed with african rhythms.
They are called Tinaruwen and they are twareg nomads of the sahara desert. They are truely awesome and amazing any one interested should call
