lavtas

Hey!
Any of you guys know who makes a good lavta? not a steel stringed laouto, which can be confused from time to time, but a turkish lavta? (longer neck than an oud, seven strings 2+2+2+1, movable tanbur/saz frets)

heres a pic of one (a pretty crap one actualy)
regards,
Paddy

Dimitris Rapakousios makes incredible lautas, he's very well known for them. Check out some pics at: DIMITRIS OUDS.

Take care,

Haluks lavta

That's the one.
How much do you charge, haluk?
Could you make one with kelebek wood?
Also, how much is a good, strong hard case for one?

Regards,
Paddy
