Almost antique Oud from Damascus- Syria
Hi there,
Im going to sell my Oud with the following informations:
Handmade in Damascus, Syria in 1972 by Mahmoud Safi -Coworker of Nahat- . !
This oud is in a good condition but I think it needs to be revarnished .
The sound of this oud is amazing.
That will be sold with an Soft bag !
The price ist 800 Euro.
The Oud will be sent from Germany!
stringlenght : 63 cm.

Amazing ! Especially with Anouar Brahem Style 
Thae oud is sweet and balanced رخيم
Mahmoud Safi was one of the finest luthiers in the post-Nahat era in Damascus . He used to be GHN's assistant in the late 1940's - early 1950's,
before lunching his own workshop.
I was lucky once to obtain a 1957 Safi's oud in a fairly good condition.

I wouldn't if I haven't got one already. Though, I still think this who likes this style and does not take it at once, taking into consideration its
very fair price & its location in Europe, is making a big mistake 
When my oud was first offered for sale, it took me about 5 minutes to "take the oud & run" before the man could have changed his mind.
Well, that was me .. an oud maniac, not you, level-headed ladies and gentlemen of this forum
