need a oud book for basics and some nice maqams
Whats up guys,
I got my first oud about a week ago but I still need to learn a lot (including string basics) and I need advice of some text books that are good. My
oud is a sukar model and I like a book that goes more toward arabic maqams.

Hi,
I've got interested in ouds via a lute/classical guitar training (as have a couple of other people her too I imagine !)
Some of the best method books for classical guitar are centuries old, e.g. Carulli and Sor. So I wonder are there similar points of reference for the
oud in Arabic ? Would be great if anyone has any pointers on this!
