Oud maker Abd Mahmoud?

Came across this great video on Youtube:

His name seems to be Abd Mahmoud, although this sounds a bit strange in Arabic - do I have this correct, or is it an abbreviation for a longer name?

Looks like he is an oud maker too, based in Baghdad - he even has a Facebook page under the name Abd Mahmoud Abd al-Naby: https://www.facebook.com/darAlfnbdMhmwdbdAlnby

Anyone heard of him before and can add some more info?
