Oud Teacher
Good evening,
I'm looking for a Oud Teacher in the Vancouver, BC Canada area and would very much appreciate a reference if anyone knows of a good teacher.
I'm also hoping to pick up some Oud CDs.. Egyptian, Lebanese, Iraqi .. any advice on artists that i'm able to get at Virgin Records or even
online?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know any teachers, however, I have a lot of Oud CDs by Iraqi, Lebanese, Egyptian artists, etc. that I was thinking of off-loading.

the iranian barbat player hossein behroozinia lives in vancouver i think. he plays in a highly-regarded persian music ensemble, anyone remember the
name of it? i know they have a website, you could probably contact him through there.
