Ud case combination reset??

Strange question!

Does anyone know how to reset the 3-digit combination lock on an ud case similar to this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-PROFESSIONAL-QUALITY-FIBERGLASS-TURKISH...

I have a smooth shiny black case. Somehow last night I managed to reset the combination...I guess...because the only way I've been able to open in now is with help from a hammer.

Thanks!!!

I hope your oud survived the hammer attack on the case ... Sorry, no idea about how to reset - but good luck anyway, Adam!

Alexander, thank you my ud seems to have survived!

Actually it looks like once I have an answer I'll be able to bend the lock back into shape with a pliers and hold on to the case.

There is a good solution.
Well Adam, with 3 digit, there are only 1000 combinations, am I right ?
Be patient. :D

Resetting the lock number sees much nicer situation than trying to open the oud case when it´s locked and you have forgotten the number. Yes indeed, there are 1000 possibities. Been there, done that... NOW i won' t forget that number again.
