Nubian Taqsim...

I've always really like the whole "nubian" sound.... Mostly just messing about.

Hi Christian and all,:wavey:
I've had a long absence from the forum, a kind of struggle to keep playing the oud for various reasons.

Anyway, love this little pentatonic piece of yours and the tune you quote can be seen and heard in the movie 'Al oud'.
Nice touch Christian, felt and sincere, relaxed. Thank you

Best Wishes, Charlie

Very nice. :)

Is there a particular pentatonic scale that is used in Nubian music?

EDIT: I think I may have found it...

whole step, step and a half, whole step, step and a half

So for example: A B D E G
