"cheap" hybrid string set

I'd like to share a string set I'm using at present on my oud. I noticed that the bass strings from Pyramid are cheaper than Kurschner, and it is the opposite for treble nylon strings. So I made a mix of both manufacturers : bass from pyramid and trebles from Kurschner. It is a "relatively" cheap way to make a good string set.

On my 61,5cm oud (high F tuning) :

ff - 0,46 (3,1kg)
cc - 0,6 (3,0kg)
gg - 0,76 (2,7kg)
DD - PY1009 (3,3kg)
AA - PY1015 (3,1kg)
F - PY1025 (3,75kg)

It is cheaper to use PVF for the "D course". I've never tried it, but I might be a good option.

Best,

Juju.
