yes he is an egyptian oudmaker called AL WAZIRI , he builds beautiful floating bridge ouds , and he makes great sound , working for brit el oud in Cairo mostly :)

I own an Al Waziri oud, a fixed bridge one, with a nice mellow sound. the soundboard is a six part one, very thin and responsive...

that is a nice oud. very deep n soothing sound as well.it's rather small for a arabic oud? "or is my eyes playing tricks on me"lol
nice taqsim as well..:)

It' seems to be 60cm strings length, like mine. To my opinion, the bowl dimension is rather standart for a "modern" oud.

just a curious question..for his floating bridge, is it the standard arabic tuning or a iraqi tuning? as for d fixed bridge, i assume it's CFADGC. any ideas or advise?
