Best fixed bridge oud under 1000$
Hey guys
I need your recommendations. I tried to contact Faruk Turunz for a reduced price but he is not answering.
There was one by Fares Jehad for 800$ but I'm really not sure if it's wise to buy a fixed bridge from an Iraqi luthier. I mean I have seen a video of
that but still...
any recommendation is appreciated

I've seen some of his ouds in Iran. Fares and Leith Jehad are absolutely better options.

Hi,
I don't understand why you are hesitant to buy a fixed bridge oud from an Iraqi builder, they are considered the best in the arab world not just for
floating bridge ouds. you should contact faik fadhel of Iraq, I'm not sure of his prices but they may be close to $1000.

Well I haven't ever touched a fixed bridge Iraqi oud and a very good Iraqi friend advised me not to buy fixed bridges from Iraqis. He recommended
Faruk Turunz and Yildirim Palabiyik. Also I'm buying for my GF and she doesn't like Iraqi ouds so much.
Anyway, if you have Faik's contact details, please share with me.
