It's an oud bag. A bag is not a case.

It says "An extra harder layer made of 1cm palziv". How hard is palziv?

palziv is crosslinked polyethelene foam, intended for thermal, acoustic and vibration insulation.

It is not rigid however, so any external pressure or impact is still transmitted to the instrument. A hard shell case lined with high impact polystyrene sheet (HIPS) is effective because the outer shell provides a rigid structure to resist impact and crushing pressure. The HIPS foam is a cushioning and thermal insulating material inside the hard shell case. A bag with foam panels is still a flexible bag. It looks cool, but provides protection only against scratching the finish.

Hey
Since we have used also 2 centimeter of sponge beside the palziv, the protection is much more better and it will protect not only the finishing.

For protecting only the finishing we could have used 0.5 centimeter of sponge which most of the simple cases used.

It's not a soft case but also not an hard case. It's something great in the middle.

:)
