included the year 1945. The neck and head are quite strong in comparison to the rest of the lute, which had been split at the seams."
Note to antique dealers in the "stuff" business: Do not, repeat, DO NOT separate any parts of an antique instrument. What YOU consider "broken and
useless" will possibly be restorable, and a fine instrument may be brought back to life. Leave them alone, and avoid an acute case of the dumbass.
