Hi from new guy

Hi!
I'm Don. I've been a musician forever. Studied western music as well as ethnomusicology in college. I've been a double bassist most of the time but have been exposed to the oud over the years. Just got my first and think I've found my instrument! Looking forward to learning! Great site!

Welcome to the forums Don!

As you'll notice, the people here are very friendly and a perfect source if you have any questions regarding the instrument or how to play it.
