String Height

I'm curious about the set up on my oud. I guess like most musicians string height is about personal preference. I'm just wondering if there are acceptable ranges for this. Thanks in advance for your input!

Turkish string length = 2-3 mm @ neck joint
Arabic string length = 2-4mm
